I began my first internship in the summer of 2006 at Andy Glad Graphic Design after only taking one graphic design class. Mr. Glad gave me an introduction to the world of graphic design and taught me a lot of useful skills that he acquired in his years in the industry. The following year I completed a summer internship at Experience in Design as a prepress operator where I set up files for print and redesigned their website. The following fall I began a freelance job at www.drunkenboat.com where I helped with the HTML coding on the site. Version 9 of that website is now online and I am working with the Drunken Boat team on Version 10 which will be released in April 2009. In the summer of 2008 I began an internship at Tru Events in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This internship, as well as subsequent freelance work gave me a great understanding of how design agencies operate, and how they deal with large clients including PepsiCo. I have a good knowledge of computers and graphic design programs. I am willing to (and want to) learn any skills that are required for me to be successful. I am willing to work any hours that are required of me, including nights, weekends, and holidays. When I’m not looking at a computer screen you will find me hanging out with friends and family, playing video games, traveling with my girlfriend, or listening to music. I am currently working at Minuteman Press in Greenwich Connecticut. I am the art director there in charge of all related graphic design duties. We specialize in full color digital and offset printing.
